Thank you so much for visiting our web page. . We have the most incredibly beautiful place for a wedding! Circle of Light is located outside of Eureka Springs overlooking Beaver Lake. The entire front of the chapel is glass, facing a view of lake, mountain and sky that is a marvel. It is absolutely breathtaking, and is truly the most beautiful place anywhere in this area for a wedding.

Our wedding chapel is magnificent in every season. In wintertime we have fireplaces on both levels, plus big spiral candelabra. It is very romantic and makes superb pictures. In summertime we offer our big outdoor circular deck, facing the same spectacular view, as well as the chapel and reception areas. The deck is a favored place for weddings, or you can use it as part of the reception. Either way people always love to be out on the deck at least for photos of the two of you with nothing but lake, mountain and sky. It’s like being in heaven!

All three of us are ministers and we truly love our work! The weddings are a ministry for us, not just a business, and we are dedicated to the true meaning of marriage. We offer a depth of caring that makes our couples comfortable, and we are known for our attention to every detail. People who get married here tell us that the atmosphere we create is an experience of exceptional beauty. We also encourage including your children in the ceremony.

WEDDINGS ON THE LAKE

Circle of Light has three gloriously beautiful, yet completely different settings for weddings, ensuring that each bride can find the perfect ambiance for her wedding.

The Sunset Room
This elegant living room is the heart of Circle of Light. With a wall of windows facing the lake in the westerly direction, its glorious sunsets and stunning lake views will take your breath away. Vaulted ceilings, polished oak floors and the reflections of a crystal chandelier create an ambiance of magic and elegance cradled in nature’s splendor.

The central window has a wedding arch covered with silk flowers where the bridal couple stand, framed by two spiral candelabra that are lit during weddings. The foliage of live plants -- abundant ferns and peace lilies add their light. An elaborate antique wooden fireplace, its shelves adorned with handmade vases, provides atmosphere and winter warmth. A beautiful oak staircase at the edge of the room provides a perfect entranceway for the bride to her groom in the wedding arch. The Sunset Room adjoins the Reception Room that opens onto the Circle Deck, all with incredible views of Beaver Lake. This location is perfect for a more intimate wedding. Its maximum capacity is about 20 people. It is also utilized frequently for receptions.

The Circle Deck
Suspending you in the beautiful lake view, the Circle Deck makes a spectacular backdrop for an outdoor ceremony or reception. An artfully arranged flowered wedding arch, enhanced by tulle draping and surrounded by nature’s glorious woods and flowers, evokes an enchanting fairy tale wedding. The bride may make an elegant entrance from the front garden, up the stairs and across the deck to her groom awaiting at the wedding arch. The Circle Deck can be the scene of the most spectacular sunsets ranging from bright oranges and yellows to pale pinks and lavenders. You’ll watch the lake streaked with color as our miniature lights enhance this setting. Often the Circle Deck is the scene of receptions, especially dancing to the tunes of a DJ. The Circle Deck has a seating capacity of about 45 people for a wedding, with ample additional standing room. It is one of our best locations for formal and informal wedding photographs.

Sacred Circle Chapel
Our Chapel has an atmosphere of elegance and quiet beauty. The wedding couple are framed by a stunning floor-to-ceiling arched glass window, crowned with flower garlands and live plants and enhanced by sidelights. The incredible lake view creates a perfect backdrop for the wedding. Elegant spiral candelabra cast their light across polished antique wood pews, the hallmark of the Chapel. A beautiful hand-laid tile floor is heated in the winter. A lustrous red oak staircase with mosaic tile landings offers the bride a perfect descent to her groom. In the winter a fire crackles in the large, native stone fireplace. The Sacred Circle Chapel has a seating capacity of 70 people.

A CIRCLE OF LIGHT WEDDING

At Circle of Light we take special pride in our beautiful God-centered service. Our goal is bringing SoulMates together in God’s Love. All of our weddings, regardless of size, include the full spiritual service with minister – prayer and invocation of God’s blessings, the minister’s words on marriage, recitation of wedding vows, exchange of wedding rings and if you wish, the lighting of the Unity Candle. Many of our brides choose to make an entrance to the wedding arch where their groom awaits. Our wedding arches are adorned with silk flowered garlands and framed by spiral lighted candelabra on either side of the arch. We provide music for all services, especially the traditional wedding processional and recessional and a song during the service, either after the vows or at the lighting of the Unity Candle. You are welcome to use our wedding music or bring your own. During cooler weather, fireplaces are lit for warmth and for atmosphere. Two wedding consultants are available to assist you with every detail of your planning. Dressing rooms are available on two different levels for the wedding party.

SMALL, SIMPLE AND INTIMATE

THE WEDDING VOWS*
The wedding ceremony only, in your choice of location. Includes the setting, the minister, candles, music. Use of a bridal bouquet of white and cream silk flowers and a boutonniere is provided, if you wish. Use of Unity Candle if desired. The price quoted is for 10 people, including the bride and groom. Maximum is 30 people without reception. Photography available from $75-95.

In the Sunset Room or on the Circle Deck $195

For 10-20 people, please add $30. For 20-30 people, please add $50.

THE ELEGANT ELOPEMENT*
The wedding ceremony for the bride and groom and two guests, in your choice of Location. Includes the setting, the minister, candles, music. Use of a bridal bouquet of white and cream silk flowers and a boutonniere if provided, if you wish. Use of Unity Candle if desired. Includes an intimate Reception with draped and decorated wedding table. A heart shaped cake is cut by the couple and served by us to their guests. Toasts are given with beverage of their choice (dry champagne, spumante or sparkling juice). Photography available from $75-$95. An extended Elegant Elopement for up to 10 people is available for an additional $50.

*The Wedding Vows and the Elegant Elopement can be scheduled Monday-Friday at anytime except Friday sunset. Since Friday sunsets and Saturdays are our prime times, we require a Reception for those times. Closed Sundays.

ELEGANT WEDDINGS WITH RECEPTIONS
Circle of Light Receptions are held in the Reception and Sunset Rooms, with the Circle Deck as additional available space in warmer weather. The wedding cake is displayed on a lavish wedding table decorated in cream and white satin, lace and tulle. All tableware is of silver and crystal. Tables are adorned with silk flowers. There are tables available for a Groom’s Cake, if desired, and a Gift Table. A long counter of hand-laid tile provides space for catered food and for service of beverages. The entire area has polished oak floors and long windows with full view of the lake.

THE ETERNAL CIRCLE WEDDING
The wedding ceremony (includes setting, minister, candles, music) at your choice of locations listed below, is followed by a receiving line and full Reception for the wedding party and guests in the Reception and Sunset Rooms. In pleasant weather, the Circle Deck is also available. Two decorated wedding tables are provided plus a Gift Table. Two-tier wedding cake (3-tier for larger receptions) with the bride’s choice of colors. Dry champagne, spumante or sparkling juice for the toast and for the guests, as well as mixed nuts, our special Wedding Rose and Heart mints, punch in a crystal punch bowl, full coffee and tea service, all served on crystal and silver service.

Included in the Eternal Circle Wedding are bridal bouquet (traditional or hand-tied) for the bride and boutonniere for the groom; photography with professional equipment (up to 48 exposures); our lovely toasting flutes as a keepsake or a ring pillow for your ring bearer; the use of the bubble machine upon departure or on the Circle Deck during the Reception; our Jacuzzi Basket full of surprises and including a bottle of champagne, spumante or sparkling juice to take with you.

Wedding in the Sunset Room $559 for up to ten people
Wedding on the Circle Deck $609 for up to ten people
Wedding in the Sacred Circle Chapel $659 for up to ten people
$9 for each additional person

Since Sunsets are our special prime time at the Lake, Friday evening and Saturday evening Sunset weddings are charged at the Chapel rate ($499 or $659), with a 20 person minimum, though you may choose any location. Sunset weddings during the week must have a reception. We are not open on Sundays.

Directions to Circle of Light

Go west out of Eureka Springs on Highway 62. You’ll go down a steep hill, past Lake Leatherwood and up the other side. At the top of the hill you’ll see a big Exxon station called River Lake Outdoor Center. Right before it is the junction of Highway 187. Turn left on 187, go approximately five miles. You’ll see a realty office on your left called Thomas Realty. Right after Thomas Realty,187 will take a turn to the right. As it does, Mundell Road goes left. There is a big brown and white sign with arrows pointing down Mundell Road that say Beaver Lake Cottages, "Stark Key Marina", etc.. Take Mundell Road. Go four miles to the very end of Mundell Road. Stay right after you pass the Roadrunner Inn. At the end of Mundell, you’ll see the entrance gate to Starkey Park. The last driveway on the left before that gate is Circle of Light. There is a big round four foot sign. The address is 3969 Mundell Road. Come down the driveway to the chapel.

To come to Circle of Light, from the West, you would come on Highway 62 toward Eureka Springs. About 12 or 13 miles before you get to Eureka Springs, you'll go through a little town called Bush. After going through Bush, begin looking for Highway 187. First there is a Highway 187 North that turns left and says Holiday Island on the sign. Do not take that 187. But then a half-mile further you'll see 187 South that turns to the right that goes to the dam. Take that road. You'll go about five miles, go across the dam. Two and ½ miles past the dam, after you've gone up the hill, you'll come to a "Y" in the road. Highway 187 goes to the left and Mundell Road goes to the right. There is a big brown and white sign full of arrows that say things like "Beaver Lake cottages, Starkey Marina, Roadrunner Inn. Take Mundell road. Go to the end of Mundell, which is going to be about four miles. After you pass the Roadrunner Inn, Mundell Road curves to the right. Stay on Mundell. About one-half mile past that curve, at the very end of Mundell road you'll see the gate that goes into Starkey Park. About 50 feet. before that gate, Circle of Light is the last driveway on the left. There is a big four foot round sign. The address is 3969 Mundell.
